Regional Development:

●Establishes inter-regional cooperation relations in order to access structural and cohesion funds as a consequence of Romania.s EU accession.
●Formulates proposals to eliminate the blockages that produce delays in the implementation process of the regional development programmes and of the programmes financed from the structural instruments, having as an objective the increase of the absorption degree and the ensuring of an efficient use of the funds attracted by the Ilfov County through its regional development policy and coordination of the structural instruments.
●Analyses and evaluates projects and proposals for projects with EU financing and formulates proposals for the adjustment, prioritizing and structural development in the Ilfov County.
●Analyses and evaluates the administrative, institutional, legislative and other disfunctionalities and blockages that appear in the implementation process of the EU-financed projects that take place in the Ilfov County.
●Evaluates periodically the results obtained through the achievement of the objectives financed by the regional development programmes.
●Permanently collaborates with the public administrative authorities, central and local, in order to ensure proper communication, transmission of data and information regarding implementation and implementation proposals of the programmes financed from structural instruments.
●Manages and analyses data and information regarding the possible problems that might appear in the implementation of the programmes financed from structural instruments.
●Analyses aspects signaled out by natural and legal persons, in their quality of beneficiary, regarding the problems that they are confronted with, which derive from the implementation of programmes financed from structural instruments.
●Presents to the central and local administrative authorities reviews and findings, made in collaboration with them or separate, that may contribute to the ensuring of the convergence of the use of funds, the increase of the absorption degree and the correction of the disfunctionalities, for a more efficient use of the financial assistance that Romania benefits from, through the regional development policy and the coordination of structural instruments.
●Formulates points of view regarding criteria, priorities and allocation methods of the financial resources from the programmes financed from structural instruments, in order to increase the absorption degree.
●Requests data and information from ministries and from the central and local public administration authorities, necessary for the realization of attributions.
●Collaborates with the institutions responsible for the implementation of European funds, based on the protocols, analyses and processes the obtained data and information.
●Analyses the possibilities of communication with the potential beneficiaries, through the dispersion of information methods in regions, according to the level of knowledge of the beneficiaries from the fields of European funds.
